1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy protects SchoolTix, Schools, parents, learners, attendees and the integrity of the Platform. It applies to all users, including schools, staff, administrators, customers and attendees.

2. Allowed use

Users may use SchoolTix only for lawful school, educational, community and event ticketing purposes approved by the relevant School or Event Organiser.

3. Prohibited content

unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or deceptive content;

content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy rights or personality rights;

defamatory, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, hateful or harassing content;

explicit adult content or content unsuitable for school communities;

content that exposes unnecessary personal information about children or learners;

content that encourages violence, illegal conduct or unsafe behaviour;

malware, harmful code, phishing links or suspicious downloads.

4. Prohibited conduct

creating events without proper authority;

manipulating ticket prices, availability, reports or seating layouts fraudulently;

duplicating, forging, tampering with or unlawfully reselling tickets;

bypassing payment controls or Platform limits;

accessing accounts, events, reports or data without authorisation;

scraping, harvesting or exporting data unlawfully;

attempting to disrupt, overload, scan, attack or reverse engineer the Platform;

impersonating a School, staff member, parent, learner or SchoolTix representative;

using SchoolTix to spam, harass or mislead users.

5. Security requirements

Users must keep login details secure, use only authorised devices and accounts, promptly remove access for staff who no longer need it, report suspected unauthorised access and avoid sharing admin credentials. Schools should use named user accounts rather than shared passwords wherever possible.

6. Child and learner protection

Users must not upload unnecessary learner information, publish sensitive child information without lawful authority, expose learner lists publicly, or use SchoolTix to communicate inappropriate content to or about learners.

7. Enforcement

SchoolTix may remove content, suspend accounts, cancel tickets, disable events, restrict features, preserve evidence, notify affected Schools, report conduct to authorities or take legal action where this Policy is breached.

Suspected abuse, fraud, unlawful content or security incidents should be reported to SchoolTix support using the contact details in this document.
